We closed our doors & took the summer off, but don’t think good-byes are forever ... Poor George, our favorite beastie, is distraught. He was finally old enough (and therefore calm enough) to haunt the bead store doorway and then ... darn if we didn’t close our doors. He was fine with a summer off but now that school has started, he just can’t believe that the school-drop-off-then-walk-then-open-Blue Water Beads routine isn’t reactivating. We cannot console him with promises to reopen any time soon but now that fall is in the air, we do have some wonderful events confirmed at Allaire Village, Barlow Flower Farm, and the NJ Bead Society ... there is more still under wraps and in the planning stages.
