About Our Private Parties
Our private parties are held in the evening, outside of normal store hours.  They are two hours long.  Whenever possible, we strive to maintain a ratio of about one staff member per three participants, so as to ensure personalized attention when choosing and assembling your jewelry.

Regardless of prior experience, participants may choose to make earrings, necklaces, bracelets, or ankle bracelets.  Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will help you tailor your design to your skill level and to the time available.

There is a $10 sitting fee per person and participants receive a 20% discount on all purchases made during the party (with the exception of class registration fees which are never discounted).

The Cost of Materials
Blue Water Beads has a broad selection of beads that range across a wide spectrum of costs.  Prior party participants have crafted lovely jewelry for a material total of under $20, others have incorporated more expensive semi-precious, 14K, or hand-made beads for much pricier pieces.  The choice is yours.  Be true to your own taste and budget and we will help you create stunning jewelry uniquely your own.

Who Pays
Often, individual participants pay for their own sitting fee and their own materials.  Occasionally, the person arranging the party would like to pay all or part of the cost of the party.  We are very flexible, and in those cases, we are happy to help you set a budget and define a plan to ensure a successful party within your cost constraints.  This is an especially nice way to host a beading event for a bridal group, birthday, or thank-you party.

Private Classes
If your group has a specific, more technical project in mind, we would be happy to arrange for a private class, scheduled at your convenience, as an alternative.  Private classes are priced differently due to the involvement of an instructor.

Reservations
Obviously, advance reservations are required for all parties so that we can assure space & staff will be available.

Food
You are welcome to bring food and refreshments.  Traditionally, participants bring a pot-luck assortment of snacks, beverages, or other foods.  Others choose to plan on dining at an area restaurant either before or after their beading party.  There are many fine food establishments in the area.  You may want to consult the Manasquan Chamber of Commerce for catering or dining options.http://manasquanchamber.com/shapeimage_1_link_0
